Cancer & Exercise

Learn about exercise for cancer survivors and those in the midst of treatment.   I am involved with the programming offered at Washington Regional's Exercise Center.  Allopathic treatments, while effective are difficult for the body and mind.  A person receiving these treatments needs all the support they can tolerate.  This includes spiritual, social, physical, emotional and mental.

For me, that describes yoga.  Link to Yoga Newsletter for more insight into my yoga experience.

My interest in helping those with cancer preceded my own diagnosis by over 6 years.  I found that in helping others it prepared me for my own cancer challenge in 2003.  Read entries in my online cancer journal by selecting pages below.  If you would like to contact me please do.
