Radiation Problems Come Visit
November 11, 2003
The weekend went pretty well. I
tried to take it easy even thought I was ready to do something
exciting energy wise. Nonetheless I was very tired Sunday.
Still I felt better than in quite some time.
Monday's treatment lasted on 10 minutes!
A record. Today, they took films and still only 15
minutes. Maybe we have our rhythm. I won't hold my
breath. But it's less stressful getting in and out without
delays and problems. Today I see the Doc which means more
time, but I have adjusted my schedule and appointments so that
there is nothing to stress out about. I just take a book.
Yesterday a sore throat. It seems to be
worse after I eat. I have difficulty eating anything that
is dry. Soup is great. Soup and sandwich okay.
It's the season for soup, so, how timely. The sore throat
reminds me of after I had my tonsils out (I was 6).

Energy continues to improve. I can
exercise without feeling more ill. It's a very good
feeling.
The doctor continues to look for and expect
burns and blistering on the treated breast. He says that
especially with large breasts (mine are) it is unusual to not
receive burns. I told him I was treating often with creams
(a variety with different healing methods) and was relying on my
ability to tan. He gave me a look like, well, but don't
bet the bank on it. I told him I would plan for the worse
but hope for the best. Is that a Chinese proverb?
Accessed a few new websites. Discovered
more about inflammatory breast cancer. I quit researching
before I had really delved into it before treatments got me
down. I am glad to have found out more. Now I am
more knowledgeable of what to look for and what makes this
cancer different from a discrete tumor. It's so easy to
overlook or forget something with all the information about the
disease and its treatment being thrown at me. So, I
continue to study.
