People say they really like my hair.
I'm ambivalent. It's way too curly. But, it's so
much better than no hair. Curly, out of control curly.
Now I understand what people with naturally curly hair complain
about.
I miss my Mom. She would be one to
commiserate with, about our painful feet. Of course,
her pain would be worse. I miss that.
I leave for India in less than 2 weeks.
I am planning to be gone for 10 weeks. I made a trip like
this a couple of years ago. This time I'm more worried.
I have more to worry about.

I am counting the hours. I leave for
India (if the plane takes off from Fayetteville on time) in 54
hours. It has been an eventful year and I hope that time
away will help me further put these events in perspective.
It will also be very interesting to see how the people I know,
and will meet, view treatment of cancer. It will be a time
of reflection on my business, my relationships, my goals, my
attitudes. I hope I can stand it.
